From the Tub to the Heavens, (e.g. Water Baptism)
By: Emma and Jody

People occasionally ponder
Questioning all that is
Understanding little

Of what life has to offer

This day I number among those
Sitting in my own bathtub

Fully clothed

Very soon to be soaked by a rising tide
Just as a year ago, when on the beach
Same clothing, same bare feet

It's captivating, scintillating, it's highly natural
This flowing lava that approaches my form
I am a mountain, in a range forlorn

Kindle in me a fire
I say to my creator

Xanthochroid in my perception

Does Jesus continue to get whiter with every passing year
Would a Jewish man wondering the desert be an angry WASP

Judging?

Hateful?

Many Churches portray him as such, but why?

Then come the words of Psalm 23:

The L-rd is my Shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
He leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me
In the paths of righteousness
For his name's sake...

Heated fluid envelops my toes
Dancing slowly in sync
With some unheard melody

Heading upstream

To create a zany conglomeration
Of human, textile and water

A new garnish for this event
A warm night in the sun
A cool day beneath the moon

Laying down I look at the stars
Twinkling from some distant galaxy

Daft people pour into my tub
With a time bomb, and a keg of beer
It is a time to party, a time to fear
But I need a time of peace

Once in a While

Zion's successor will rule this gathering human infestation
The xenomorphic personalities that distract me at times

Attempting to lead me astray

But as I travel a few more steps
Down the yellow brick road
To a seismic yellow submarine

I quietly consider the universe
With its vast spaces
Places untouched by questions

I am awestruck, rejuvenated, reborn
Seeing the light of The L-rd

And my clothes are dripping wet

What is a mugwort?
By: Emma and Jody

Magic rhyme, mournful melody
Milling mugworts bloom in time
Many madcap magistrates swoon
Mesmerized by their moral musings

Mounting from meticulous majesty
Tuning ears to the sublime
Malthusian madrigals gleam
In our fine-tuned universe of gain

Microcosmic manipulations
Microscopic malasimilations
Minimally magnanimous
Maintained by society

Written on a sunbeam
Bathed of all grime
Magistrals marry mischief
We think this a crime

Gently to all who listen
Mephistopheles whispers his plan
Making light of the ethically bereft

Might mallards will not save us
Maltese solders will not care
Mammonism moves this world

More learning is possible, light to be seen
Aromatic and bitter, the mugwort leaf
Curing or providing uneccisary distraction

For us, from an ailling world
